Northfield Stapleton’s newest eatery, Costa Vida

Enjoy the newest Mexican Grill in Northfield Stapleton!

Have you checked out the newest edition to the Northfield Stapleton’s restaurant scene?  I recently enjoyed a quick lunch at Costa Vida on my way to visit the new model homes in Beeler Park.

The peppy interior reminded me of the Southern California beach-front surf shops. Natural wood accented with cheery blue, yellow, and orange painted boards on the walls and slatted ceiling made me feel welcome and comfortable. The friendly servers wore T-shirts with “Made From Scratch” screened on the back.  Fortunately, the simple menu featuring sweet pork and made-in-house tortillas, lived up to that tag line. I also enjoyed their Horchata. Costa Vida might be only place in Stapleton to find this chilled cinnamon-flavored rice milk drink. The Kids meal, complete with a chicken or pork taco, rice, choice of beans and a drink is priced at $3.99, so it won’t break the bank.

On your next outing to Target or the movies, stay for lunch or dinner.  It’s located just north of Northfield Blvd and Central Park Blvd.
