Schools

Schools are the cornerstone of every neighborhood.

Central Park is fortunate to have some of the newest, most dynamic and successful schools in the Denver Public Schools District. These award-winning schools have helped unify the community and make Central Park one of the best neighborhoods in Denver to call home.

Central Park is a school-choice neighborhood — meaning families may request admittance to the school that best meets the needs of their children. Researching each school’s curriculum, admittance requirements and space availability is the parent’s responsibility. (It may seem overwhelming, but the schools are happy to provide tours, and parents love to talk about their favorite things about each school!). Visit Schools of Central Park and Denver Public Schools for more information.

To better understand individual school performances, school accountability reports are available from the Colorado Department of Education, and easy-to-read ratings for Denver area schools are found at GreatSchools.org and Niche.com.
