Stapleton Food Drive Sponsor Spotlight – Four Friends Kitchen

Popular Stapleton Denver restaurant, Four Friends Kitchen, supports the 7th annual Stapleton Community Food Drive, Sept 30th thru October 9th, 2017.

Located in Stapleton’s 29th Ave Town Center at 2893 Roslyn St, Denver 80238, Four Friends Kitchen provides quality food in a lively environment. Their rooftop patio is one of New Perspective Real Estate’s favorite places to host client appreciation parties.

The concept for the restaurant all began one day when four friends (and next-door neighbors in Stapleton) wanted to take their families to a good brunch that was in the neighborhood and family friendly.  Realizing the options with those qualities were limited, the four friends began hatching a plan, and with a lot of love and patience, Four Friends Kitchen was born.

Four Friends Kitchen is locally owned and operated by Kurt and Sarah Pletcher and Tim and Genefer Thornton.  Genefer is the General Manager and handles day-to-day operations.  Genefer’s passion for the restaurant business began at an early age, bussing tables at her family’s restaurants just about as soon as she could walk.  She was also raised on Southern favorites from her family’s Georgia roots.  Following a successful 14-year career as a financial analyst for the Navy and Air Force, she is excited to be back in the restaurant world.

Genefer explains that “One of our favorite things about running a breakfast / lunch / brunch-focused restaurant is that breakfast / lunch customers tend to be more local, so we have a lot of regular customers who we can get to know really well. It makes it feel less like a business and more like a part of a community.”

With hip, new eateries popping-up all over Denver, they offer something truly unique. The concept is menu features what they call “Southern-inspired contemporary American comfort food”.  Their reputation is built on “great food and great people and we’re constantly striving to perfect the customer experience, through our food, service, and atmosphere”.

Supporting the Stapleton Community Food Drive is a perfect fit for Four Friends Kitchen. “ Being a part of our local community, and giving back to it, is very important to us. Knowing that there are people, families, children, who don’t know where their next meal will come from, and the role that The Food Bank of the Rockies plays in fighting hunger in our region, to support the Food Drive is just a great way to help, and have an immediate positive impact for someone in need.”

The Stapleton Community Food Drive thanks Four Friend Kitchen for supporting the effort to help people suffering from hunger and poor nutrition in the Stapleton and surrounding areas.
